At Sunrise Dental Assisting Academy, we offer a focused, hands-on dental assisting program designed to prepare students for real careers in dentistry in just 9 weeks. Training takes place inside a real, fully functioning dental office, where students work side-by-side with experienced dental professionals and gain practical skills from day one. You’ll also gain exposure to specialty procedures, including sedation cases alongside an anesthesiologist; an experience many programs don't offer. We intentionally keep our class sizes small to ensure each student receives individualized attention and meaningful hands-on training, allowing our instructors to work closely with every student while maintaining the high quality and supportive environment Sunrise is known for. Because our instructors are actively working in dentistry every day, you’ll be learning the most current, high-tech techniques used in today’s offices. I had a really good experience in this dental assisting program. I was a little nervous at first, (nikki) our instructor AMAZING!! she was super helpful and made everything easier to learn and had fun! Class is always such a fun time you laugh, learn and leave feeling happy but also playful (which says a lot when you’re talking about teeth all day 😅) Dr David was also great! He helped us and lead us and guided us. His sweet wife Sam was also great! She was helpful on checking on us to see how we feel and how we are doing and guided us. Danica great instructor as well! She very talented and does amazing front office and customer service!
My classmates were also really supportive ❤️ and it made the whole experience more fun and less stressful. I learned a lot of useful skills like X-rays and chairside assisting, sterilization etc, and I feel a lot more confident now going into the field!
